Connecting the COOLPIX L810 to a TV or Monitor and Viewing 3D Images
3D images captured on this camera can be played back in 3D only on a 3D-compatible TV
or monitor.
3D images cannot be played back in 3D on the camera monitor. Only the left eye image of
a 3D image is displayed during playback.
1 Set HDMI 3D output (E61) to On (default setting) in TV settings in
the setup menu (A 88).
2 Connect the camera to a 3D-compatible TV or monitor using a 3D-
compatible HDMI cable (E17).
Refer to the documentation included with the TV or monitor for details on how to make the
settings.
B Notes About Viewing 3D Images
3D Images cannot be used with playback zoom.
It may take a while to display images when switching between 3D images and non-3D images.
A 3D-compatible HDMI cable is required to play back 3D images in 3D on a 3D-compatible TV or
monitor via HDMI connection.
Set HDMI (E61) in TV settings in the setup menu (A 88) to Auto (default setting) or 1080i. If
you select 480p or 720p, images cannot be played back in 3D and 3D playback cannot be
selected.
When viewing 3D images on a 3D-compatible TV or monitor for an extended period of time, you
may experience discomfort such as eye strain or nausea. Carefully read the documentation
included with your TV or monitor to ensure proper use.
