Wireless Transfer Mode
Configuration Details

Confirm that your camera’s battery is inserted and fully charged.
After connecting the camera and computer using the
supplied UC-E6 USB cable and confirming the follow-
ing, click Next.
• The battery is fully charged or the optional EH-62A
AC adapter kit is used. (Profile devices cannot be
configured if the camera turns off while setting.)
• USB option is set to PTP.
• The mode dial is set to a.

Confirm that your computer supports wireless networking.
If a wireless LAN adapter is installed in your com-
puter, click Next.
• If selecting Create an Infrastructure (Access
Point) network profile, Create Infrastructure
(Access Point) and Ad-hoc (Camera to Com-
puter) network profile or Create Profile man-
ually, confirm that your computer is connected to
a wireless network.

Confirm that camera is connected to computer via USB cable.
The Setup Utility checks that the camera is connected
to the computer via a USB cable.
• If the camera is not connected to the computer, an
alert message appears. After connecting them cor-
rectly, click Next.
