Shooting Options: The Shooting Menu
Shooting, Playback and Setup Menus
Functions that Cannot be Applied Simultaneously
Certain settings in the shooting menu cannot be used with other functions.
Restricted Functions Setting Description
Flash mode Continuous (A 101)
If set to Continuous, BSS, or Multi-
shot 16, the flash cannot be used.
Image mode Continuous (A 101)
When using Multi-shot 16, Image
mode is fixed at L Normal (2592).
Continuous Self-timer (A 34) Fixed at Single when using self-timer.
ISO sensitivity Continuous (A 101)
When using Multi-shot 16, ISO
sensitivity is set automatically
according to the brightness.
White balance Color Options (A 103)
When using Black-and-white, Sepia,
or Cyanotype, the White balance
setting is fixed at Auto.
Autofocus mode AF-Area Mode (A 104)
When using Face priority, Autofocus
mode is fixed Single AF.
Motion Detection
Continuous (A 101)
When using Multi-shot 16, Motion
detection will not function.
ISO Sensitivity (A 102)
If ISO sensitivity is fixed, Motion
detection will not function.
Blink Warning Continuous (A 101)
If set to Continuous, BSS, or Multi-
shot 16, the blink warning will not
function.
