Digital zoom cannot be used. [Digital zoom] is set to [Off] in the setup menu.
Digital zoom is not available in the following
situations.
• when [Portrait] or [Night portrait] is selected
for scene mode.
• when [Multi-shot 16] is selected for
[Continuous].
• before movie recording begins.

• [Image mode] cannot be adjusted when
[Multi-shot 16] is selected for [Continuous].
• [Image mode] cannot be set to [H 4000 ×
3000], [I 4000 × 3000], [R 3264 × 2448], and
[P 3968 × 2232] when [ISO sensitivity] is set
to [3200].

Shutter speed too slow. Noise can be reduced by:
• Using flash
• Specifying a lower ISO sensitivity setting
• Using a scene mode which has noise
reduction ability.

(underexposed).
• Flash is off.
• Flash window is blocked.
• Subject is beyond flash range.
• Adjust exposure compensation.
• Apply high-sensitivity shooting mode, or raise
the ISO sensitivity.
• Subject is backlit. Select o ([Backlight] scene
mode) or use fill flash.
