Step 1 Turn the Camera On
Basic Steps for Shooting and Playback
Setting the Display Language, Date and Time
When the camera is turned on for the first time, the language-selection screen and
the date and time setting screen for the camera clock are displayed.
1 Tap the desired language.
• For more information about operating the touch panel,
see “Operating the Touch Panel” (A4).

2 Tap Yes.
3 Tap E or F to select your home time zone
and tap I.
• For information about “Daylight Saving Time”, see
page 25.
• Tap J to return to the previous screen.
4 Tap the order in which the day, month, and
year are displayed.
5 Edit the date and time and tap I.
• Tap the desired field and A or B to edit the value.
