Step 2 — Place Film in the Holder

The ﬁ lm holders provided with the scanner can be used to scan 35-mm ﬁ lm, 35-mm slides,

medium-format ﬁ lm, and 59 × 82 mm electron microscope ﬁ lm.

Choose a holder

Choose a holder appropriate to the type of ﬁ lm.

Caring for Holders and Film

Keep holders and ﬁ lm free of dust. If necessary, remove dust from holders and ﬁ lm with a blower before

scanning. Dust on the ﬁ lm or holder could damage the ﬁ lm or affect the quality of the scanned image

Optional Film Holders

Optional ﬁ lm holders are available for 16-mm and panorama ﬁ lm, medium-format slides, and glass mi-
