Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu
Shooting, Playback and Setup Menus
c Welcome Screen
You can select the welcome screen to be displayed when the camera is turned on.
None (default setting)
No welcome screen will be displayed.
COOLPIX
Displays a welcome screen.
Select an image
Select a picture in the internal memory or on the memory card for the welcome
screen. Choose a picture in the picture selection screen and press k.
As the selected image is stored in the camera, the image will appear in the welcome
screen even if the original picture is deleted.
Pictures which are set as 16:9 (3584), 1:1 with black border, 1:1 with white
border or 1:1(2736) on Image mode setting (A 95) and images smaller than
320×240 edited by the crop (A 53) or small picture (A 54) function are not
selectable.
